Unlike 2D X-ray technology, 3D X-rays utilize what is known as a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machine. With this machine, our dentists can create a 3D image of your mouth for further analysis.

While other forms of X-rays are still helpful, 3D X-rays allow for easier treatment planning and diagnosis of oral health issues. Going beyond the limited pictures that were traditionally taken has changed dentistry for the better not only for dentists, but for patients as well.
